A heavy dose of European styling — and a very competitive price— combined to make the 4600 SCB a major marketing success for Maxum. Sedan yachts were growing in popularity during the late 1990s, and the SCB hit the sweet spot with families who recognized a good value. The two-stateroom interior is arranged with a mid-level galley forward to port in the salon, opposite a raised dinette (or optional lower helm station). Large windows provide panoramic views of the water, and the salon overhead features contoured sofits and recessed halogen lighting.
